Research and Copy Fees

The Public may obtain copies of criminal, civil, domestic relations, probate, as well as marriage licenses.

Copies can be obtained at the Clerk’s Office from 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday at the following location:

Copies obtained at the Clerk’s office are $.50 per page and an additional $26.00 for each certified copy.

 

Copies by Mail

To obtain copies of public records by mail, please address your request to:

Please include the following in your request:

  • $26.00 search Fee

  • $.50 per page copy fee

  • $26.00 certification fee (for certified copies only)

  • The specific documents you are requesting to receive

  • The case number

  • The name of the parties at the time the case was filed

  • The filed date or year filed

  • A self-addressed stamped envelope

*Only methods of payment are Cash, Money Order or Cashier’s Check addressed to La Paz County Superior Court. If you would like to pay by VISA or MasterCard please call us at (928) 669-6131 to assist you.

* If you choose to pay by Visa or MasterCard please be advised that there will be an additional $26.00 fee for processing your payment.

 

Marriage License/Abstract

The Clerk’s Office will provide a Marriage Abstract as a duplicate to a marriage license. You also may obtain copies of the marriage license application.

Your request must include:

  • Full legal name of the male and full legal name of the female prior to the marriage and the year the marriage took place.

  • If you know the license number located at the bottom of the marriage license, please provide that information

  • If by mail, a cashiers check or money order payable to La Paz County Superior Court for $26.00 (Abstract) or $.50 per page of the application.

  • A self-addressed stamped envelope.
