TTEAP - Traffic Ticket Enforcement Assistance Program The TTEAP is designed to assist the State Government in enforcing fines and fees imposed on individuals as a result of convictions in Arizona courts. To enforce the collection of these fines and fees, the Motor Vehicle Department determines which individuals owe money as a result of fines, fees, or convictions in any and all courts in Arizona. The MVD will then put a hold on all future registration of vehicles owned or co-owned by that individual. That individual will be required to contact the courts that have indicated there is money owed and satisfy those debts. Once MVD has been notified that the individual has satisfied their debt, the individual and/or co-owner may once again proceed to register their vehicle(s).
