The Environmental Health Division of the La Paz County Health Department provides a variety of services to the Community, and places high priority on consumer protection. Environmental Health Officers conduct routine inspections and complaint investigations related to environmental health matters in all food establishments, schools, swimming pools and spas, public accommodations, mobile home and recreational vehicle parks, campgrounds and other recreational facilities.

In addition, the Environmental Health Division provides environmental protection services throughout the County. The Environmental Health Officers conduct septic system inspections, issue septic system permits, inspect solid waste haulers and sewage haulers. The Division can supply information on other environmental issues as well.
