For millions of years the Colorado River etched its mark into the land. From it source in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the river has cut and turned it's way into Arizona - carving out the Grand Canyon and forming the western border of Arizona before continuing into Mexico.
Parker, Arizona, began as a post office and trading center for the surrounding Indian communities on the lower edge of Lake Havasu. It is now the southern gateway to Arizona lake country. The Colorado River here is popular with both skiers and boaters.
Parker Dam, which forms Lake Havasu, is considered the world's deepest dam. Sixty five percent of its structural height is below the riverbed. The dam supplies water to Los Angeles and San Diego and is 88 miles down river from Davis Dam.
Whatever your mood maybe we have a park that will fulfill your need.
